Westwood
Westwood is a booming town with over 11,000 residents, often referred to as The Hub of the Pascack Valley. The easy commute to NYC via NJ Transit is a draw for many people. There’s something for everyone downtown with a movie theater, tons of shops and award-winning restaurants. The town holds many events including its Home For The Holidays Parade. The recreation department hosts seasonal craft events, including: snowmen out of model magic, egg decorating and pumpkin decorating. The first week of July is the beginning of Westwood Recreation’s Summer Concert Series. Attracting music lovers from all over the Pascack Valley, the 50 year old Summer Concert Series, staged in Westwood’s historic bandstand in Veterans’ Memorial Park regularly sells out, turning the lawn into a jam-packed outdoor festival of singing, dancing and Summer reunions! The town boats 10 parks where you can do everything from pickleball to picnic.. The Westwood Community Center has extensive year-round classes, fitness, and events for the entire family. There are four elementary schools, one middle school and one high school all shared with the Township of Washington. This is a great community-oriented town.Sorry we are experiencing system issues.
